Menorah, a band from New Colony, Siaha, emerged as the winner of the 2024 ECM KTP Gospel Beat Contest

SIAHA, 09 May 2024, Thursday (Marasaw.com) – The Menorah band from New Colony, Siaha emerged victorious in the ECM KTP Gospel Beat Contest of 2024, clinching the top spot. The final results, announced on the night of May 8, 2024, marked a memorable moment in the event’s history.

The closing ceremony, presided over by Kmc. K. Vabeitha, President of ECM KTP Hqrs, Siaha.

The event was hosted by Mr. Mc. Beihrohmo, Mr. VT. Benison Beibyhnarona, Miss Eurika Litho, and Miss K. Remsangpuii.

The judging panel included:-

Mr. S. Hra U (Apaw),

Mr. K. Vabeihrolai, and

Mr. J. Halleluiah.

Jeremy BD Scarlet Cord of Meisa Vaih was recognized as the Best Vocalist, while the Best Guitarist title went to Lalnuntluanga Sailo, Sozo Band from Bethesda, and A. Beimopha of Scarlet Cord (Meisa Vaih) was named Best Keyboardist.

Vahrosa Nohro, Menorah Band from New Colony claimed the Best Bassist award, with Winston Beiraduakhei of Band 4 Christ – Gilgal securing the Best Drummer accolade.

SOZO Band from Bethesda was recognized as the Best Indigenous Band.

The top 5 rankings are as follows:

1. SOZO Band (Bethesda)

2. Menorah (New Colony)

3. Band for Christ (Gilgal)

4. Scarlet Cord (Meisa Vaih)

5. Justify (Goshen).

In the overall final results, Menorah Band (New Colony) took the coveted first place, followed by Sozo Band (Bethesda) in second place and Scarlet Cord in third place.
