Siaha, August 4, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner of Siaha District and Chairman of the District Sports Committee, VL Hruaizela Khiangte, has released ₹2,10,000 as financial assistance to 14 sports associations in the district.
According to the release order issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, the assistance has been released from the 2023–2024 budget allocation under sanctioned order No. A.313/MSSC/2020/166 dated 09/12/2025. The fund is intended to support various sports disciplines under the District Sports Committee, Siaha.
Each of the 14 sports associations has been allocated ₹15,000, bringing the total assistance to ₹2,10,000.

Siaha District Cricket Association – President: Derick Salai Solo – ₹15,000
Siaha District Hockey Association – President: J. Lalzuimawii – ₹15,000
Siaha District Amateur Taekwondo Association – President: A. Thazi – ₹15,000
Siaha District Athletic Association – President: PP Zalena – ₹15,000
Siaha District Badminton Association – President: L. Mahu – ₹15,000
Siaha District Basketball Association – President: H. Vabeitha – ₹15,000
Siaha District Boxing Association – President: K. Lalchhanhima – ₹15,000
Siaha District Chess Association – President: N. Solomon Beihlôtha – ₹15,000
Siaha District Football Association – President: VT Martin Vabeiduakhei – ₹15,000
Siaha District Rifle Association – President: Reuben – ₹15,000
Siaha District Table Tennis Association – President: KH Hachhua – ₹15,000

The release order was signed by VL Hruaizela Khiangte, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Sports Committee, Siaha. A copy of the order has been circulated to all concerned members for information and necessary action.
