Requirements
• A mobile number linked with Aadhaar
• An active DigiLocker account (create one on the DigiLocker website/app if you don’t have it)
• The official MyGov Helpdesk WhatsApp number: +91-9013151515 saved in your phone
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Save +91-9013151515 as MyGov Helpdesk in your contacts.
2. Open WhatsApp and start a chat with this contact.
3. Type “Namaste” or “Hi” to begin.
4. Select DigiLocker Services from the menu.
5. Confirm if you already have a DigiLocker account. (If not, create one first.)
6. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number for authentication.
7. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile; enter it in the chat.
8. The chatbot will show the list of documents available in your DigiLocker.
9. Select Aadhaar from the list by typing the corresponding number.
10. Your Aadhaar Card (PDF) will be delivered instantly in your WhatsApp chat.
Note:
• Only one document can be downloaded at a time.
• Only documents already issued in DigiLocker will be available.
• If your Aadhaar (or other documents) is not linked, update it via the DigiLocker website/app before using WhatsApp.
