Anxious wait of thousands of Class X students finally ended on Thursday with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announcing their results, which registered a pass percentage of 87.08 per cent.
Girls outshone boys yet again in the examinations with an impressive pass percentage of 87.96 per cent. Boys’ pass percentage was 86.46 per cent.

Scores of students were seen at Internet cafes and calling dedicated telephone numbers to know how they had fared in the examination soon after the results were declared at 8 am.
