8th International Exhibition on Aerospace, Defence & Civil Aviation

India will hold its largest air show starting February 9 in Bangalore where 30 countries would bring their latest aerospace products including fighter jets and transport and civilian aircraft.

The eighth edition of the biennial Aero India being held from February 9 to 13, 2011 is expected to surpass all previous editions of the premiere air show in terms of participation and volume, Secretary Defence Production Raj Kumar Singh said. - PTI

The tickets will be available at the venue as well from the day the show begins and it can also be purchased at Garuda, Forum and Mantri Malls. Weekdays the ticket cost is Rs. 400 and Rs. 500 on weekends.

Business tickets will cost Rs. 1500 for first 3 days and Rs.1000 for the last 2 days.

Aero Show Timings for Visitors:

There will be 2 shows every day for all 10:00 am – 5:00 pm every day. The first day there will be only be one show.

# Feb 9 : 2 pm to 5 pm
# Feb 10: 10:00 am to 5pm
# Feb 11: 10:00 am to 5pm
# Feb 12: 10:00 am to 5pm
# Feb 13: 10:00 am to 5pm

Transport during Aero Show 2011

BMTC has deployed 150 buses across the to the Aero Show venue and there are parking space also available at the venue.
