Deccan Chronicle has landed in Bangalore with a bang, as the figures prove it. The English newspaper sold an average of 1,06,717 copies in the IT capital every day, according to the certificate issued by the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC).

This is over a 36-day period when the circulation was audited by the ABC, which is the independent auditor of newspaper circulation figures. That is the icing on the rapidly growing cake.

The average net paid sales of Deccan Chronicle overall for the period January to June stood at 10,72,228, up from 10,03,171 during the July to December period in the year 2007.

In Chennai, Deccan Chronicle has notched up 3,03,207 copies in just three years and two months.

In Andhra Pradesh, the circulation grew 9.3 per cent to 7,47,797 copies from 7,00,838 in the previous six month period, which was from June to December 2007. (Source: televisionpoint.com)
